Along ridge to base of Back Torr - throrgh Brockett Booth dropping past Losehill Farm - Springhill Farm - Hollowford Road - Marketplace - Fish Butty stop then a present Henry VIII & his Six Wifes teapot. ![]() My feet were sore.įrom NT Car Park a straight forward rise to the summit grit blasted by the up to 50MPH winds. Hope - Lose hill - Barker Bank - Mam Tor - Castleton - Hope Good views from summit.Often very crowded Mam Tor ridge from Back Tor (with out & back to Lose Hill)įrom Mam Tor car park up well trodden path to trig and cobbled HP. Then onto Barker Bank and down to hope Village for well earned beer. Very happy to visit this well known hill in the Peak District for the first time. 29kmįollowing the 'Inn Way to the Peak District' as far as Hope - Edale, Hollins Cross, Mam Tor, Cave Dale, Castleton, Hope, Lose Hill, Barker Bank, Hollins Cross, Edale. Solo, clear with showers later, climbed on a walk from sparrowpit along the great ridge, to lose hill, Castleton, cave dale, peak forest, peak dale, Buxton.
